CONCORD, N.C. -- Concord Police are hoping to identify the suspect in a robbery at the CVS store in Concord on Saturday night.

At 9:45 Saturday, Concord Police say a black male with braids wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans walked into the CVS in the 5200 block of Poplar Tent Road.

A witness told police the suspect had what appeared to be a handgun in the waistband of his pants; Concord Police are investigating the incident as an armed robbery.

Police say the suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a blue Ford.

Officials did not comment on what was taken in the robbery.

No one was injured during the incident.
