BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. -- NBC Charlotte obtained dashcam video from two South Carolina Highway Patrol cars that capture an altercation between Chester County Sheriff Deputies and West Chester firefighters.

The incident happened on February 14 on Highway 9, near Chester.

The video shows four men shoving each other until one man falls down on the ground alongside the road. The video appears to show firefighters and brothers,   Andy and Tom Martin, fighting two deputies. Despite two camera angles from two patrol cars, it isn't clear who instigated the physical altercation.

According to the original incident report, a turf war led to the dispute.  A tractor-trailer was stuck in a ditch along Highway 9, and the firefighters and deputies were arguing who had control of the accident scene.

The footage is part of a state investigation into what happened.  NBC Charlotte obtained the video through a Freedom of Information Act request.  The South Carolina Department of Public Safety quickly responded in the affirmative.

The video shows both Martin brothers being arrested on the scene.  They were charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
