CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Detectives arrested a north Iredell County family earlier this week for selling prescription medication from their home.
According to the police report, the family of three was selling opiates like oxycodone from their home on Mathis Drive in Union Grove.
Police investigated the family for three months, using surveillance and undercover officers to build evidence.
Detectives say they seized oxycodone from the home, and the pills had a street value of $800.
Husband and wife James and Kelly Caudill along with their 21-year-old daughter Kayla Caudill were arrested on Tuesday. All three were charged with maintaining a dwelling to sell controlled substances as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
James Caudill, 41, was placed under a $15,000 secured bond, while Kelly Caudill, 40, and Kayla Caudill were held under separate $10,000 secured bonds.
Police say they made a fourth arrest during the investigation. Samantha Cash, 22, of Oakleaf Road in Harmony was arrested on Wednesday after police learned she participated in the drug trafficking at the Caudill family’s home. She was given a $35,000 bond.
Iredell County detectives say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests could be made.
