CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A distracted driver is at fault for ramming into a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer.
Authorities say Jamie Aigner was looking at her GPS device when she ran a red light at Sixth and McDowell Streets just before 1 p.m. Saturday.
The impact knocked the police cruiser into a stopped vehicle.
According to officials, CMPD officer Thornell Little was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Aigner wasn't hurt.
She was cited for failing to stop for the red light.
