CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A domestic violence investigation led police to a man wanted for robbery of a Charlotte store.
Employees at Gamestop in the 1800 block of Galleria Boulevard called police Wednesday morning following an armed robbery.
Police say the Stanley Mitchell, 30, entered the store and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. He then fled the scene.
Officers responded to a domestic violence on Carmenet Lane the next day. During the investigation, police determined the man at the house they responded to was the same suspect in the Gamestop robbery, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Mitchell was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and booked into jail.
