CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two Charlotte men have been arrested and charged in connection with a marijuana growing-operation discovered on Monday.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrested 29-year-old Brandon Ross and 28-year-old Everett Roberts on Monday evening at a residence in the 4500 block of Biesterfield Drive in Charlotte.
According to the police report, CMPD found and seized jugs, a heat lamp, digital scales, food preserver used to seal processed marijuana, chemical nutrients, 3.29 pounds of marijuana bud, one marijuana plant, and 280 grams of marijuana shake.
The total value of the materials and drugs seized is more than $5000, police say.
Ross is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Roberts is charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both men have bonded out of the Mecklenburg County Jail.
