CORNELIUS, N.C. -- Cornelius police have charged a housekeeper with stealing jewelry from a residence where she was working.
Police say Mubeen Khan Davis, 54, of Huntersville, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony larceny. She was released on $2,500 bond.
A resident called police earlier this week and reported jewelry missing from the house. The resident named the housekeeper as a suspect, according to Cornelius police.
After checking at a local jewelry store, police say, they arrested Davis. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Cornelius detectives, at 704-892-7773.
