LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. -- A man wanted for several warrants in Lincoln County was nabbed in New York City this week.
Detectives in Manhattan arrested Aquil Giovanni Jackson, 27, on Wednesday in Manhattan. They say they found his name in the National Crime Information Center.
Police were alerted to several outstanding warrants in Lincoln County.
He is charged with several felony charges, including identify theft. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says Jackson and another man, 31-year-old Dennis Aruqiett, used another woman’s ATM card earlier this month.
Jackson will stand trial in Lincoln County.
Aruqiett is still at large.
