LAKE NORMAN, N.C. – Lake Norman High School’s principal has been suspended pending a police investigation that began earlier this week.
Todd Griffin has been the head of the school since 2010 and has been with the district since 2006.
Details of the investigation with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office are unclear, but officials said that no students or staff are directly involved in the investigation.
Griffin is suspended with pay until the investigation is completed.
Parents were notified via an email and letters through students.
