LANCASTER, S.C. -- The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office is investigating an assault between two women who had been drinking, that ended in a knife fight.
Just after midnight on Tuesday, deputies responded to the Springs Memorial Hospital to find a 31-year-old female suffering from cuts on her hip and shoulder.
The victim told authorities she and another woman were involved in an altercation, when the other woman produced a knife, striking her on her hip and shoulder.
The victim was brought to the hospital by personal vehicle and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The Sheriff's Office says both women had been drinking, and at this point, no criminal charges have been filed. However, the case is still under investigation, and the other woman is wanted for questioning.
