LANCASTER, S.C. -- Police seized more than two dozen pounds of marijuana allegedly belonging to a Lancaster man already wanted on drug charges.
Detectives were searching for Mynone Blair due to an outstanding warrant for possession of marijuana and intent to distribute.
Police stopped Blair, 36, on Tuesday when they saw him leaving a house on Pacer Drive.
Investigators say they found a large amount of cash and marijuana in the vehicle. After taking Blair into custody, they searched his home on Spirit Road and the house they saw Blair leaving from on Pacer Drive.
In total, detectives say they found about 26 pounds of marijuana with a street value of $25,000. They also seized a large amount of cash, drug paraphernalia and handgun, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
Blair is now charged with drug trafficking.
Lakiesha Gaston, 29, was arrested at her home on Pacer. She faces drug trafficking, weapon and resisting arrest charges.
Both suspects were booked into jail and released on a $40,000 bond.
