ALBEMARLE, N.C. -- NBC Charlotte has learned new details about the investigation into a local shop owner’s murder.

The lead investigator has been pulled from the case.

The SBI is looking into David Dulin. Albemarle’s police chief has not given a reason, and has only commented to say it’s not related to the murder of 81-year-old Eldridge Gibson.

No arrests have been made.

Police are searching for a person of interest. Anyone with information about the person captured by surveillance cameras should call police.
