LENOIR, N.C. -- A Lenoir man will serve no less than three years in prison following a conviction for firing a weapon into a home in June 2012.

Dustin Tevin Horton, 21, was found guilty of felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharge weapon into occupied property, sell cocaine and possession of cocaine.

The cocaine convictions, according to the District Attorney's Office, occurred in September 2011 and September 2013, respectively.

The remaining two felony charges stem from the non-fatal shooting of Allen Audrey in a Lenoir neighborhood after a dispute over money.

Audrey was treated and released for his injuries; he was shot in the right forearm.

Horton was sentenced to no less than 37 months, and no more than 57 months in the North Carolina Department of Corrections.
