MAIDEN, N.C. -- Maiden Police say a 36-year-old woman went missing shortly after a theft at her place of business was discovered.

Maiden Police say Jennifer Leigh Wynn, 36, of Maiden, stole money from her employer, Royal Enterprises, back in early October.

Royal Enterprises operates the Maiden Shell convenience store.

Wynn was reported missing by family members shortly after the theft at the store was discovered, police say.

Wynn was located on October 31, and Maiden Police charged her Thursday with felony larceny by servant or employee.

She was booked in to the Catawba County Detention Center under a $3,000 bond.
