STATESVILLE, N.C. -- The Iredell Sheriff's Office arrested a man accused of breaking into a local business and passing a stolen check last week.
Deputies arrested Michael Lynn Shores, 44, after he broken into an office of a company and stole a check that he later passed at a grocery store in Statesville.
Lynn was charged with breaking and entering and larceny. He's being held at the Iredell County Detention Center under a $5,000 unsecured bond.
