CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A Charlotte man awarded thousands of dollars for allegedly fraudulent insurance claims has been arrested.
Officers arrested Cain Michael Cain, 39, on Thursday.
Investigators say Cain filed claims with multiple agencies for vehicle damage for a single car crash.
He earned almost $7,000 from three insurance agencies. Insurance House-Southern General, the last company Cain approached, reported him to the Department of Insurance.
Cain has been booked into jail under a $2,500 bond.
