KANNAPOLIS, N.C. -- A Kannapolis man is sitting behind bars, charged in connection with a Saturday night knife point robbery.
Around 9:30 on Saturday, Kannapolis Police responded to the Lane Street Express Food Mart.
The clerk told police a white male wielding a knife took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store heading east.
Police began canvassing the area looking for the suspect, when they found a man who matched the suspect's description walking down Lane Street.
Authorities charged Johnathan Bo Bullington, 23, with robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was taken to the Cabarrus County Magistrates Office and given a $200,000 bond.
