LANCASTER, S.C. -- Authorities have arrested a man they believe to be responsible for the larceny and the following arson of a mobile home in Lancaster Thursday morning.

Early Thursday morning, authorities responded to a mobile home fire in the 3200 block of Cedar Circle to find the home engulfed in flames.

Authorities say the homeowner reported the home had just been burglarized, and the fire was intentionally set, leaving damages in the $30,000 range.

Investigators were led to identify 27-year-old Donald Joseph Wheeler, III, as the suspect in the mobile home fire and larceny. Officials say approximately 20 firearms and other stolen property stolen from the mobile home was found during their investigation.
