KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. -- Gaston County police are searching for the man they believe is responsible for a Wednesday night murder on a street just outside Kings Mountain.
Larry Jabar Hall, 29, was found dead beside a road near Kings Road and J.E. Herdon Access Road around 10:20 p.m, according to the Gaston County Police Department.
Officials say they're looking for Tyrone Marcus Cannedy, 22, who is wanted on first-degree murder charges.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest related to the murder.
The Kings Mountain Police Department first responded to the scene, but the incident occurred outside of city limits, and the Gaston County Police Department's investigative unit has taken the lead in the crime.
It's unclear how Hall died or what led to the alleged murder.
