CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A man will spend at least three decades behind bars for a Charlotte man’s murder.
Ralph Lewis Gettys, 34, was tried for murder, possession of a firearm by a felon and assault.
The judge sentenced him to at least 30 years in prison for the various offenses.
Police say Gettys killed Raymona Abraham, 21, during an argument outside of an illegal liquor house in Charlotte late last year. Abraham, who was unarmed, died at the scene after being shot three times.
