Two Lincolnton residents face drug charges after authorities say they seized 4.5 pounds of marijuana and a pistol from an apartment last week.
Marvin Christopher Neal, 27, and Angelia Danielle Queen, 28, face multiple charges including possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver marijuana, as well as maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for a controlled substance.
The pair was arrested on Monday, a week after authorities executed a search warrant at an apartment on Massapoag Road in Lincolnton. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said its SWAT team was asked to secure the apartment because of weapons that were inside of the residence and the “violent history” of one of the suspects, according to the news release.
Police seized the drugs and pistol on Oct. 23 while executing the warrant, though Neal and Queen were not arrested until this week. Both have been released from jail after posting a $10,000 bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
