MONROE, N.C. -- A Monroe man has been charged for allegedly breaking into local storage facilities.
Police say they noticed a gold Mazda parked outside of the Public Storage in the 200 block of Normand Street around 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Officers investigated and say locks from several units had been cut and the fence was peeled back. Officers found items from the storage units on the outside of the fence.
Laquan Meadows, 21, has been named as the suspect. He faces felony breaking and entering charges.
