SHELBY, N.C. -- The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office, in conjuction with the Drug Enforcement Adminstration, arrested a Cleveland County man after a search of his residence turned up more than 140 pounds of marijuana, officials say.
On Friday, the Cleveland County Narcotics unit arrested Jose Juan Gonzalez-Martinez.
Authorities report finding 141 pounds of pot inside his home, and in a vehicle parked in the driveway in the 2300 block of Stony Point Road.
Gonzalez-Martinez is charged with trafficking in marijuana - Level II, and possession with intent to sell or deliver.
His bond is set at $150,000.
