CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a homicide in southwest Charlotte.
CMPD responded to 11339 Red Hickory Lane Tuesday night after they said a concerned neighbor called police just before 7:30 p.m.
Police said that neighbor called 911 after they went to check on the male homeowner and found him dead inside the house.
When officers arrived they found obvious signs of foul play in the home.
No arrests have been made and officers were canvassing the neighborhood trying to gather as much information as they can.
The victim's name has not been released.
