CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Officers say a quick-thinking neighbor is to thank for catching two robbery suspects in Charlotte.
The incident happened Monday at a home in the 7800 block of Andover Woods Drive.
A witness called 911 after noticing two men break into a nearby apartment. Officers arrived and took down suspect descriptions. Police say they then found 23-year-old Decarlos Brown and 19-year-old Carl Wells nearby with the victim’s stolen property.
Both men are charged with breaking and entering, larceny and conspiracy. They are now in the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
