New charges against trio accused in store owner's murder

SALISBURY, N.C. -- New charges have been filed against the three men accused of murdering a Rowan County store clerk.

Police say Kevin Canzater, Maurice Robinson,and Christopher Watson shot 59-year-old Hecham Abualeinan, who owned the Z&H Mart in Salisbury.

Police believe the trio also robbed the Neighborhood Market on West Horah Street in November, and again on December 5.

Abualeinan was murdered on Monday, December 10.

Canzater, Robinson and Watson are charged with robbery with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon stemming from that incident.
