CONCORD, N.C. – Three women were killed in a Cabarrus County triple-shooting Wednesday afternoon.
Police say they’re investigating three separate crime scenes inside of a trailer park on Geneva Drive in Concord.
Police found a woman suffering from gunshot wounds at each location. One was pronounced dead on scene. Paramedics transported the other two to Northeast Medical Center in Concord, where they were pronounced dead.
Police say they believe this was an isolated incident, and the suspect, 37-year-old Darryl Angelo Anderson, knew all three women.
The victims have been identified as Sharon Cox, Jessica Cox and Sheila Serrano, a mother, daughter and neighbor.
Several witnesses led police to Anderson, who is now charged with three counts of murder. He’s being held in the Cabarrus County jail without bond. Authorities say additional charges are possible.
