CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person was shot during an armed robbery in north Charlotte Monday afternoon, officials said.
The shooting took place at Eddie's Mart at 505 Beatties Ford Road near the Brookshire Freeway and was reported to police around 3 p.m.
One person was shot in the leg and was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The name of the victim has not been released.
