LANCASTER, S.C. – Two people were arrested earlier this week after for setting fire to a home in Lancaster County, according to Lancaster County Sheriff Barry Faile.

Emergency officials were called to a home in the 1700 block of Dan Funderburk Road in Heath Springs on May 25.  The house, valued at $20,000, was destroyed by fire and investigators believed it was intentionally set.

After a lengthy investigation, officials said they arrested Josh Price, 28, of Lancaster and Bobbie Lee Keiningham, 26, of Kershaw for breaking into and starting the fire.

Price was charged with second degree arson and second degree burglary and was taken into custody on June 4.  Keiningham faces the same charges and was arrested on June 6.  Both were placed behind bars on a $50,000 bond.

“We are thankful that no one was hurt during this incident and pleased that our investigators were able to solve the case so quickly,” Sheriff Baile said in a statement.
