MAIDEN, N.C. -- The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office arrested a Maiden woman on Sunday wanted on 21 outstanding felony warrants.
Deputies charged Shannon Matthies, 26, with 10 felony counts of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, two felony counts of conspiracy, two felony counts of trafficking in opium, one felony count of sell and deliver of a controlled substance within a 1,000 feet of a park, six felony counts of maintaining a vehicle/residence and six counts of misdemeanor child abuse.
Deputies said they went to a home in the 2500 block of Southland Trail Sunday night looking for Matthies. As they arrived on the scene, deputies observed Matthies fleeing into a mobile home.
She was found hiding in the bathroom and taken into custody, according to the police report.
Matthies is being held at the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $114,500 secured bond.
