CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot inside a home Monday night.
The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. on Dundeen Street.
According to police, detectives believe that the victim, Keith Graham, 46, and the suspect knew one another and the shooting was possibly connected to a drug deal.
Graham was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Graham's death is the first homicide investigation for Charlotte-Mecklenburg police in 2014.
Officials say several witnesses were taken to police headquarters to be interviewed.
