MONROE, N.C. -- Officers arrested a Monroe man Tuesday accused of stabbing his wife while his three children were home.

Police were called to the 6600 block of Sturdivant Landing Drive around 7 a.m.

They say they arrived to 35-year-old Elizabeth Neely suffering from serious injuries. She was taken to CMC Main, where she was last listed in serious condition.
