MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. – Police are investigating a shooting that sent a father and son to the hospital Saturday night.
The shooting happened at 109 Sella Ridge Drive in Mount Holly shortly before 9 p.m. Officials said both father and son were in an argument over the firearm when one round went off.
Mount Holly police say the father was struck in the torso, and the son was struck in the upper leg. Officials have determined that both were struck with the same bullet.
Officials said they’re investigating the incident and trying to determine who pulled the trigger. Officials said the case would be presented to the Gaston County District Attorney's Office in reference to charges.
Both father and son were sent to the hospital were in good condition, according to Mount Holly Police.
