CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A father accused of murdering his infant daughter is behind bars Wednesday following a weekend incident inside a Charlotte hotel.
Todd Boderick, 25, was charged with murder Wednesday after police said he assaulted and killed his daughter.
Officers responded to the Southern Comfort Inn at 4419 Tuckaseegee Road around 9:30 p.m. on October 27 and found the 6-month-old not breathing. She was rushed to Carolinas Medical Center and later died, according to police.
After an investigation Boderick was arrested Wednesday morning and is being held at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office without bond.
