Police: First Citizens Bank robbed in north Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a bank robbery in north Charlotte late Thursday morning.

Police said the First Citizens Bank on Mallard Creek Road was robbed around 11 a.m.

Police said they are looking for a black man who is about 6-foot-2, medium build with a full beard, wearing a Brooklyn Nets cap and black sunglasses.

The suspect fled the scene in a black, newer model Chrysler 200 with no tag, police said. No one was injured during the incident.
