GASTONIA, N.C. -- Gastonia police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man and woman who used a stolen debit card to make several purchases.
A Gastonia man reported in February that his debit card was stolen and fraudulent purchases were made at various businesses, police said.
The two suspects were captured on surveillance camera video at one of the businesses where the fraudulent purchases were made.
The woman had her hair pulled up with sunglasses on top of her head and was wearing a blue T-shirt and black blazer. She was pushing a baby stroller, according to the police report.
The man has a mustache and was wearing a black ball cap with the letter “B” on the front, jeans, a blue jersey, black coat and blue and black tennis shoes.
Anyone who can identify the subjects or who has information about these crimes is asked to call Detective Scott McClure at (704) 866-6975, or Crime Stoppers of Gaston County at (704) 861-8000.
