THOMASVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Police in Thomasville have released the name of a man who died after a stabbing last weekend.
Police say 47-year-old Darrell Turner of High Point died after the stabbing early Saturday.
Officers were called to a home in Thomasville and found Turner. He was taken to Thomasville Medical Center where he died.
Twenty-eight-year-old Eric Allen Whisnant of High Point is charged with murder. It was not clear if Whisnant has an attorney.
Police have not released a motive for the stabbing.
