BOONE, N.C. -- A man accused of breaking into cars at a Boone Harris Teeter now faces several felony charges.
Officers arrested Jason Lynn Brown, 30, on Oct. 17.
Brown is accused of breaking into two cars at the Harris Teeter lot and taking the owners’ personal property, including credit cards. He allegedly used them to make purchases at a nearby Little Caesars and Walmart.
Brown was on probation at the time and wearing a GPS tracker. Police used the GPS records and surveillance video to identify Brown as the suspect.
He’s being held on a $3,000 bond. Brown is charged with felony financial card theft and felony breaking and entering, along with misdemeanor crimes.
