LENOIR, N.C. -- A joint investigation by the Lenoir Police Department and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation put one man behind bars chasing six charges related to child pornography.
Last Friday, officials raided the apartment of 31-year-old Curtis Benjamin Kacludis.
Investigators seized Kacludis' computer in the raid. Officials say Kacludis was found to be in possession of multiple images depicting children "in a lewd manner" or children "involved in sex acts".
Following interviews and a search of the seized computer, Kacludis was arrested and charged with three counts each of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor (distribution) and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor (possession), both charges are felonies.
Kacludis was booked in to the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $75,000 bond.
