Report: Victim's moped stolen from Sav A Lot

GASTONIA, N.C. – A man called police after his moped was stolen while he shopped for groceries.
 

The theft happened Friday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. on West Franklin Boulevard while the victim was shopping at the Sav A Lot Grocery Store. 
 

According to the police report, the victim told authorities his silver and black scooter was worth $1,200.
