MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Police in Mooresville are investigating two Friday night robberies.

The first happened around 8 p.m. at the Food Lion on North Main Street. Police say a man with a black handgun took money from the cash register and fled.

The second happened at the Walmart in the 100 block of Norman Station Boulevard just before midnight.

No one was injured in either incident.

Anyone with information is about either crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-658-9056. A $1,000 reward is available for information leading to an arrest of the person responsible.
