ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The Rock Hill Police Department is on the scene of a bank robbery.

Just before 2:45 on Tuesday afternoon, Rock Hill Police tweeted that they are on the scene of a bank robbery on Cherry and Edward Streets.

Authorities say there are no injuries in the heist at Bank of America.

Police say the suspect is a black male in his 60s.

The suspect fled the scene northbound on Cherry Street in a black Kia Rio.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken in the robbery.

No further information was immediately made available.
