CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have arrested a robbery suspect after a brief standoff with a SWAT team in west Charlotte Friday morning.
Police said officers went to serve an arrest warrant for Daniel Donte Moore, 26, but he refused to come out of a home off of Harrison Street and Ferry Road.
The SWAT team was called to the scene and quickly surrounded the home, according to police. After a brief standoff, authorities were able to take Moore into custody.
Moore was wanted in connection with a robbery at a Charlotte business. There were no reported injuries during the incident.
