Search warrant reveals meth lab in Albemarle, man arrested

ALBEMARLE, N.C. –  An Albemarle man was been arrested after a meth lab was discovered inside his home.

Authorities found the drugs on Monday at 823 Hill Street.  The State Bureau of Investigations and the Albemarle Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence.

Investigators said they found substances used to manufacture meth.  Lloyd David Springer was arrested and is facing charges of maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of using controlled substances with manufacturing meth.

His bond was set at $100,000.  He is scheduled to appear in court July 29, 2013.
