LENOIR, N.C. -- A 22-year-old Caldwell County resident has been charged with manufacture and possession of nuclear/biological/chemical weapon.

Saturday morning, Caldwell County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a home in the 500 block of Cedar Place in Lenoir in reference to a bomb inside the residence.

The Sheriff's Office says deputies found materials that appeared to be consistent with those used to construct a weapon of mass destruction.

Authorities say the weapons consisted of a Molotov cocktail and another unidentifiable incendiary device.

STAT Environmental Services of Lenoir collected and secured the devices.

He was booked in to the Caldwell County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
