ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. -- Three Taylorsville residents are facing drug and stolen goods charges following a traffic stop on Monday.

The Alexander County Sheriff's Office pulled over a vehicle on NC 16 South on Monday that led to the arrests of three Taylorsville residents.

Heidi Elizabeth Watts, 38, Teresa Nichols Winters, 31, and 28-year-old Will Donovan Loudermelk were each arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance Schedule II, possession of a controlled substance Schedule IV, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen property.

Authorities say methamphetamine, pills and a large amount of stolen sporting goods were recovered from the vehicle in the traffic stop.

All three suspects were booked in to jail under a $5000 bond each.
