South Charlotte armed robber still at large, police say

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are now asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who broke into three convenience stores and a McDonald’s all at gunpoint in south Charlotte.

The man was armed with a handgun and demanded money from clerks during each of the robberies, which began on November 23.

The McDonald’s at 105 North Wendover Road was robbed at gunpoint as well as convenience stores at 9726 Monroe Road, 101 West Woodlawn Road and 4474 Randolph Road.

He is described as a white man between 5’4’’ and 5’11’’ weighing between 120 and 180 pounds with blonde hair.  Police say he may be using a black four door Lincoln Town car.
