STANLEY, N.C. – Officials are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the CVS Pharmacy in Stanley.
Officials said the incident happened at 5:42 p.m. Sunday night on Highway 27 South. The woman, a white female approximately 50-55 years old, walked in to the store and made off with controlled substance drugs.
Investigators say the handgun was not used, and noted it appeared that she was wearing a work uniform.
