DENVER, N.C. -- Thieves made off with about $1200 worth of merchandise in two break-ins at East Lincoln Christian Ministries in Denver.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in locating a suspect in the break-ins.

Authorities have identified Sarah Elizabeth Leatherman, 44, as the pictured suspect. Her last known address was in the 3900 block of East Maiden Road in Maiden, the Sheriff's Office says.

Leatherman will be charged with two felony counts each of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.

Officials say thieves stole approximately $1200 worth of merchandise, including several heavy winter coats, in two overnight break-ins between 2:30 and 6:30 a.m. on  August 30.

In the first break-in, the Sheriff's Office says the suspects arrived in a dark-colored Chevy S-10 with a toolbox on the back. After loading the truck and leaving, authorities say the suspects returned in a white Cadillac STS with chrome factory wheels.

Authorities say Leatherman was accompanied by a white female with dark hair, according to officials.

If you have any information that could assist law enforcement, or know Leatherman's whereabouts, please contact Detective Mark Stamey at (704) 732-9050.
