CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A pregnant woman was robbed at gunpoint at a sweepstakes parlor in northwest Charlotte Thursday afternoon.
The robbery took place at the Winner's World sweepstakes parlor located off of Brookshire Boulevard around 1 p.m. According to police, the victim is an employee.
Police said a man held a pregnant woman at gunpoint and robbed her at the parlor before running out the back door.
The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Carolinas Medical Center.
The suspect is described as a white man with a medium build and mustache. Police said they are reviewing surveillance video to gather more details.
